DARCY JOSEPHINE RALPH

We weren't expecting another baby, and indeed there were worries about whether she would be okay because of some medication I was taking and some wonky blood test results... more tests were run, and came back ALL CLEAR, and the news was even better when the amnioscentesis also confirmed that we were finally having a girl! Hurray!

You can see the top of her head and her hand.

Here she is in profile, with her head to the right. You can see her left arm, too.

The wonderful Lallyquilters of Lallybroch (see the Hoser page!) surprised us by making her two quilts! One for the crib and a doll quilt! I recently received them in the mail and was overwhelmed by how gorgeous they are. So many ladies made wonderfully designed and constructed squares, many many more contributed so much adorable fabric, and Mhairi undertook the whole project of bringing it all together and constructing the quilts! I am proud to be part of such a talented and generous quilting group.
